Paola Frani Heritage: the shooting.

Cold days with a freezy air...brrrr!
In this post I told you about my new experience at Paola Frani's showroom in Milan. It was a great day and I chose to modify this black dress that was too long for me. With the nice seamstress we decided to cut it and make it more modern: now, it's a cool sheath dress, black, minimal, with these gorgeous shoulders and perfect with a pair of biker boots.
I love it.
You know I'm shy when I know someone is taking pictures of me and so I was during that shooting! But the photographer was so good at making me feel at ease and, I have to say it, I didn't notice she was photographing me as often as not!
Hope you'll like these photos..let me know what you think!

A big hug,
Ele.

Paola Frani Heritage.

...of course, some shopping before leaving to Turin :)

Hi, my sweet and new friend Beanie :)

Black and studs will rock my winter!

A day spent in Milan to visit once again Paola Frani's showroom. This time I had the possibility to meet the heritage of each collection: a nice project to confirm that her style is cool and appropriate for every year and every season. So, I had to comb through her past collections and choose the item I thought could be adapted to my style. A very nice seamstress was there to help me with all the changes I wanted for my dress.
I chose a long and black sheat dress with a particular decoration on the shoulders and I decided to have it shorter and more modern just by cutting some centimetres from the edge.
You can see the result in my pictures, but the official ones are coming soon!
So, stay tuned!

A big hug,
Ele.

Need of white.

Back from Milan, where I attended an interesting course taught by Carla Gozzi. It was amazing, I learnt so many things and I was so glad to meet her.
So, yes, this was the course I was speaking about some time ago :)
And now I'm trying to become a good personal shopper and style consultant thanks to all the good advices Carla gave me. Finger crossed!!

During these days I'm just thinking about me, my future and to keep on doing what I love the most. It's a bad period for me and a couple of times I thought about giving up with my blog, my passion and everything I built during these years. Well, right now I'm sure I won't do that. It's my life, it's my passion and a promise made to my dad came to my mind. He told me never to give up, not to stop dreaming and to believe in my passion, always. And he comes before anyone else. So, here I am. With my need of tranquility, of peace, of calm. My need of white.

Just one more thing: I'm thinking of writing my blog just in English, it's easier for me and I love it more. What do you think? Italian readers, are you ok with my decision? Please, let me know :)

A big hug,
Ele.

Bab: build a bag.

Finally, I managed to have some free time for my blog, I really needed it.
Some week ago, I was contacted by Caleidos to take part in a cute project called bab: with the co-operation of Caleidos, Emanuela Serena (architect) and Guendalina Garlato (designer) a new kind of bag is born. I received a package with all the pieces to build my bag (bab literally means build a bag) and...the fun begun :) my mum was as amused as me!!
After having built my bag, I decided to give it a personal touch: I made a knot for each handle to trasform the shopper bag into a handbag :) What do you think? Isn't it nice??
Bab is made in pure leather (so soft!!) and every piece is replaceable with another one in a different colour that you can buy separately.
I chose this model in the shapes of grey and brown, because I do not love coloured bags, but you can really indulge you in choosing the perfect match of colours!!

A big hug,
Ele.
